LBAviation have been selected to assist West Yorkshire Police and Leeds & Bradford Airport in the implementation of PROJECT GRIFFIN. If you are unfamiliar with the project please visit:
As the process is slowly being initiated, West Yorkshire Police and LBAviation have decided to launch a photographic competition. The competition is to supply a photograph.
The topic is "best reflects LBA". A possible example for you would be a landing aircraft with Leeds Bradford's tower in the background. The images needs to clearly show an aspect of Leeds Bradford airport.
The images can be in either portrait or landscape format. It must be in digital format and saved as JPEG/JPG file type. Initially, please size your images as 9 x 6 inches at 300ppi. Please send your images for the following e-mail:
The Prize
The image is to be used on large banners advertising Project Griffin within Leeds & Bradford Airport and West Yorkshire's surrounding area and will also be showed on Lbaviation home page.
The prize is for first place only and will be a day with the West Yorkshire Police Air Support Unit at Carr Gate.
The judges will not be Lbaviation and will be from LBA & West Yorkshire Police.
All entries must be authors own work & digital adjustment is allowed. Closing date for entries is 9:00am 1st April 2009
